Masters final abandoned due to rain

THE rain brought a halt to the final of the Masters Over-40 35-overs-a-side between Sagicor Life UWI and BNOC yesterday at the Foursquare Oval.
Before the rain came and conditions became too wet, Sagicor Life UWI were 37-1 after 8 overs.
In the brief innings, Donavan Lovell had already struck 24 runs. However, the match had to be called off and a new date for the replay has yet to be determined.
