Christian Hinds sweeps X30 Class

Domination was in order this past Sunday with both Christian Hinds and Colin Bradshaw posting perfect records by winning three out of three races in their respective classes.

It was Round Two of the Barbados Karting Association (BKA) SDRR Motorsports/Cheffette Restaurants Championship, which was held at Bushy Park Racing Circuit in hot and sunny conditions.

Hinds, the reigning BKA Champion Driver, shut out his opponents in the 125 cc X30 class. Joshua Maloney gave Hinds all he could handle, but Hinds beat Maloney to the finish line twice by just over one tenth of second each time. Maloney finished fourth on the day as he was unable to start the first race and scored no points.

In the Easykart 60cc Cadet class, once again Colin Bradshaw lead the way. He was chased in each race by Daniel Ullyett and Jayden Thompson, who finished second and third respectively on the day. This was Ullyett’s second straight podium finish as well as Bradshaw’s second straight win in the highly competitive cadet class.

Kyffin Simpson came out on top in the Easykart 100 cc Juniors class, winning two of the three races. Charlie Kerridge also posted a win on his way to second position on the podium,while Adam Mallalieu held off Calem Maloney and Graham Bradshaw for third place.

In the Easykart 125 Seniors Light class, Stuart Maloney and Sascha Soodeen competed for the top spot. Maloney bested Soodeen in the final race of the day earning top honours.
