Two changes have been made to the Barbados Pride 13-man squad for the fifth round Digicel Regional first-class match against Windward Islands Volcanoes at Windsor Park in Dominica, starting Friday, December 16.
West Indies Test and One-Day International (ODI) opener Kraigg Brathwaite, who led the side in the rain-hit drawn Round 4 match against Guyana Jaguars at the Guyana National Stadium, is resting on the recommendation of the West Indies Cricket Board, while his West Indies ODI team-mate, off-spinner Ashley Nurse, is injured.
All-rounder Kenroy Williams returns after recuperating from a hamstring injury which kept him out of the squad for the match against Guyana, and there is also a recall for fast bowling all-rounder Kevin McClean, who was in the squad for the first three matches but is yet to play for the season.
Another all-rounder, Kevin Stoute, who skippered the team in the first three matches, is back at the helm.
Squad: Kevin Stoute (captain), Anthony Alleyne, Shamarh Brooks, Jonathan Carter, Roston Chase, Shane Dowrich, Justin Greaves, Shai Hope, Kevin McClean, Omar Phillips, Kemar Roach, Kenroy Williams, Jomel Warrican.
