BUSINESS MONDAY - FSC honours top employees

THE Financial Services Commission (FSC) closed out 2016 with a double celebration, honouring the regulatory agency’s corporate award winners and thanking former CEO Randy Graham for his services.

While congratulating staff for their level of achievement and hard work in 2016, Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Christopher Sinckler, said this was evidenced by the good report the FSC continues to receive here and abroad.

He expressed thanks to Graham for his vision in leading the organisation along a path of development that saw the FSC making great strides in the five years of its existence.

The Minister presented Shari Hope, Senior Analyst in the FSC’s Credit Union Division with the FSC Stability Award. He also presented Human Resources Officer, Lisa Niles with the FSC Corporate Support Award; and Registration Licensing Officer, Ian Armstrong with the FSC Spirit Award.

In addition, the FSC Yes We Can Award went to Ambur Boyce, Administrative Assistant in the Insurance Division; and Esther Griffith, Senior Analyst in the Examination Division.

There were also Peer Recognition Awards, where staff nominate and vote for their colleagues to show appreciation for their support and hard work throughout the year.

The Team Member Professionalism Award went to Senior Analyst, Roxanne Morgan-Went; Team Member Integration Award went to Lynette Taylor, Communications Officer; and the Team Member Support Award was shared by Paul Byer, Systems Administrator, and Lisa Niles, Human Resources Officer.

The event was held at the Crane Resort.
