Rock Hard Cement Limited expands to regional market

Regional countries are embracing the products being offered by Rock Hard Cement Limited.

 

The local company has announced that it will now be exporting to three island states in the Caribbean; St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Guyana.

 

Last Wednesday, Executive Chairman Mark Maloney stated that, “A ship offloaded cement in Barbados today and it will be going to St. Lucia on Friday where we would be entering that market with our distributors there and then we will be heading onto St. Vincent and then Guyana. So by the end of next week, Rock Hard Cement will be in three more territories.”

 

The expansion to other markets does not stop there, as he outlined that three other islands have been earmarked as possible buyers of Rock Hard’s product.

 

“By the middle of January, we will be in Grenada, Dominica and Antigua. Those are the markets that we are working on as well as in markets further north in the coming months,” Maloney stressed, noting that both the Ready-Mix and cement for the average consumer sales “were doing very well”.

 

He pointed out that the product was also doing well in Trinidad and Tobago. 

 

Maloney also spoke on the changes to the cement’s packaging, highlighting improvements, saying that the company has changed from the polypropylene cement bags to Kraft 3ply and one plastic later bags, to ensure that the product is delivered to the customers with the best packaging.

 

“So the new branded bags are on the market as of today and they are phenomenally strong bags,” he added.
