PromoTech ‘took early step’ to remove NSRL

ONE technology company is reporting that it has dropped the prices of its products and services since the National Social Responsibility Levy (NSRL) was removed.

The Chief Executive Officer of PromoTech, Kailash Pardasani, proudly informed those gathered at the ground breaking ceremony for the company’s new headquarters at the site of Aberdare, Vauxhall, Christ Church, that that PromoTech took an early stance to discount NSRL out of pocket.

He said that the price reductions which were as much as 20 per cent will reflect in all Business Solutions projects.

“All of the prices have gone down since NSRL has been removed. Our customers have noticed, and we applaud all other companies that took the early step,” he told the gathering which included Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, on Thursday evening.

As for the 25 million dollar project, during construction, it will indirectly employ approximately 300 people. According to Pardasani, the project will be built on 31 000 square feet of land, and further explained that PromoTech will utilise half of this for its new headquarters, and lease the other half to like-minded forward thinking businesses. It will include a fully automated A Class office and retail building.

“Google style offices for PromoTech and tenants with a lounge area, roof top with a beautiful south coast view, kitchenette and extracurricular activities such as table tennis and foosball for the staff,” he said.

“Many may not know, Café 195 in Warrens is part of the Group. Announcing Café 195’s expansion to another restaurant next door in the wonderful Sheraton Mall where we already have the HP Store and PromoTech Megastore.

“[This] will contribute to the PromoTech Group of companies employing over 100 people and growing rapidly. Even with our heavy use of Artificial Technology this is proof that we can continue to create quality job opportunities with the increased use of technology,” Pardasani said. (AH)
