Plumbing World celebrates 25 years in operation
Plumbing World, one of Barbados’ leading plumbing supply companies is celebrating 25 years in operation.
The journey began at Lakes Folly in the City, and over the years the business has expanded with locations at Warrens, St Michael and Speightstown, St Peter.
“Twenty-five years is no small accomplishment,” Senior Partner Dave Gerow reflected. “This company started in September 1992 and it wasn’t necessarily the best economic times, but we persevered through it; we have grown as individuals, we have grown as a company”.
He was at the time addressing the anniversary ceremony held at Plumbing World’s showroom in Warrens, yesterday.
Gerow took the opportunity to express his profound gratitude to his staff, some of whom have been with the company from day one.
“…We prospered, we expanded and it is because of you. This is a team effort,” he indicated.
“I know that I am not always the easiest person to work with because I hold myself to a high standard and I expect each one of you to be a similar standard, and that is a positive thing… I would like to thank you for contributing to make this company what it is. We have overcome challenges and I am sure there are some ahead, but if we all band together we will grow and continue to grow”.
During the ceremony, Pastor Stephen Moore blessed the company, praying that the next 25 years will bring even greater recognition and prosperity.
