Nathan Tull tops photography competition

 

“Outstanding”, this is how former Television and Film Producer, Ryan Pannell described the photography of Nathan Tull.
 
On Monday, Tull a recent graduate of Harrison College was announced the winner of the school’s Film and Photographer class competition which took place last semester.
 
Pannell, who currently resides in Barbados has been volunteering as a tutor for the lunch-time class conducted both at Harrison College and Codrington College.
 
During a prize-giving ceremony, he revealed that a panel of international judges, which included the personal photographer to the President of the United States, Barack Obama, also praised the work of third form student, Anke Truss who placed second; and former student Ronnie Taylor, placing third.
 
“The judges were not given the names, ages or any other personal details of any of the students that competed. They were supplied only with the work. The result of that were three top prices totally $600 ... I was extremely impressed with the level of work,” Pannell said, also pointing out that the class, which was well-attended, was unaware that their work was going before such a prestigious panel of judges.
