Lions Club South urges healthy living

THE Public Service and Welfare Committee of the Lions Club of Barbados South continues to serve from the heart. For World Diabetes Day, which was recognised on Sunday, 14th November 2021, the members of the committee distributed fruit baskets to various churches within the club’s catchment area in the parish of Christ Church.
“Persons who are diabetic were our primary focus for these fruit baskets,” said Chairman of the committee, Lion Corlis Weekes-Grazette.
“I thought it was a very good gesture of the Lions Club of Barbados South to engage in this worthwhile initiative and urge the public, young and old, to try and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Our next major project will be the distribution of our Christmas hampers”.
