Flow giving the gift of ‘moment-making’ for Christmas

Barbados’ leading telecommunications provider has launched a yuletide community initiative that focuses on giving those in need an opportunity to create a Christmas filled with ‘special moments’.

As a follow-on from its successful ‘With Flow, It Only Gets Better’ campaign launched earlier this year, the company has now turned its attention to those in-need.

Flow will be gifting eleven deserving homes – one in each parish - with its Upward Bundle for one year; donating its Flow Study online learning tool to seven children’s homes across the island; and partnering with the Starcom Network Inc. to provide six homes nominated by the public with the gift of connectivity and entertainment.

In what has now become customary for the telecoms provider, Flow’s management and staff will also present gifts to the residents of the Sterling, Sayes Court and Nightingale Children’s Homes.

“During the holiday season it’s very easy for us to forget those within our community who need help. Our initiative this year allows us to give back in a meaningful way, allowing these customers to also have the opportunity to use connectivity and entertainment to not only get ahead in life, but to also come together to enjoy creating their own special moments for the holiday season,” said Jenson Sylvester, Country Manager, Flow Barbados.

With almost 20 000 customers signing-up for the company’s two new triple play bundles, Upward and Onward, many Barbadians are already enjoying faster broadband speeds, corner-to-corner Wi-Fi connectivity and access to premium television content all supported through complimentary upgraded equipment.

“Connectivity plays such an integral part in our lives and it provides us with opportunities to be entertained, to learn, to be inspired and to keep moving forward. This is our gift to our customers to proactively ensure they have all the tools necessary to succeed not only today but every day,” said Sylvester.
