Creativity shines at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic School

The students of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic School have been showcasing their creativity.

During yesterday’s Open Day, the tots from reception to class 3’s proudly displayed their projects which looked at transportation – the past, present and future.

Principal, Sister Pauline Dempsey shared with The Barbados Advocate that at the start of this term, each class except for the class 4’s who had to prepare for the Common Entrance Examination, were tasked with highlighting transportation by land, sea, and air, as well as through
the use of animals.

Parents, guardians and friends of the school who visited went away with a wealth of knowledge as the students also thoroughly explained the exhibits.

Commending their efforts, Sister Pauline expressed, “The children have been very creative; great results…They did a lot work at home and with their teachers. It would have taken them all term – a lot of hard work – but I think they eventually enjoyed it!”
