Carols by Candlelight spreads Christmas cheer
THE grounds of Ilaro Court were filled with Christmas cheer on Saturday night during the 24th Annual Carols by Candlelight.
The warmth and unity of the hundreds in attendance radiated across the well-manicured lawns of the official residence of Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley. Patrons were entertained by the Mighty Gabby, Promise, Rishane, Sundown Superhero, Trinity and Kareen Clarke, Biggie Irie and Natalie Burke, Bit Bit, the Daryll Jordan Secondary Steel Orchestra, to name a few.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Barbados in association with First Citizens Bank, Carols by Candlelight was an event that the whole family could enjoy as persons brought their chairs, blankets and picnic baskets for an evening of wholesome entertainment and Christmas cheer at sunset and later under the stars.
