CAIPO’s digital corporate registry going live

THE Corporate Affairs and Intellectual Property Office’s (CAIPO), Corporate Registry Digitisation Project is days away from going live!
The first phase of the project will be launched today, Friday, November 26, at 10:30 a.m. via live stream on the GISBarbados Facebook page and the PMOBarbados YouTube channel.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley will give the feature address while Minister of International Business and Industry, Ronald Toppin, and Acting Registrar of CAIPO, Tamiesha Rochester, will give remarks.
Under the first phase of the initiative, persons will be able use the new interface and online sys- tem to register business names and incorporate new companies and so- cieties with restricted liabilities. The move to digital will eliminate the need to physically visit CAIPO; reduce processing time, and allow documents to be issued electronically.
