Alleyne student takes 2nd place in BTPA’s 2018 Junior Minister Competition

The Alleyne School auditorium was filled with jubilation on the last day of the term as student Shamera King-Charles received a pleasant surprise when she discovered that she copped the second place in the Barbados Tourism Product Authority’s Tourism Youth Congress held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

This news was met with roaring applause from fellow school mates and staff.

Shamera was even more delighted when it was revealed later in the day that only one point separated her and the winning student, Junior Minister of Tourism 2018, who attends the Christ Church Foundation School. Although it was a few days after the competition, Shamera was elated that her hard work had paid off.

Congratulations Shamera, on a job well done.
