ICBL extends paid paternity leave for its employees

Leading insurance company ICBL extends paid leave for its employees who are fathers of newly born babies.

This new policy took effect from February 23 2021, and doubles the previous period of leave from ten paid working days or two weeks, to twenty  paid working days or four weeks.

AVP Human Resources at ICBL Gail Hinkson says, “As a progressive company which values its employees, we recognise the importance of fathers to a strong family unit and support policies which work towards achieving this,” She added,

“Parenting is a shared responsibility, and fathers should have the opportunity to bond with their newborns during this important stage.”

New fathers within the company expressed gratitude to the management of ICBL for implementing the policy, noting that they were looking forward to spending time with their children and caring for their partners.
