Sol Racing Team could go all the way

The Sol Racing team of Roger Skeete, Roger Hill, Dane Skeete, Roger Mayers and Barry Mayers has all the ingredients to dominant this year’s Sol Rally Barbados.

The team came out recently at Sky Mall as Sol launched the team with some giveaways as well as the opportunity to get up close and personal with the drivers. Their theme this year is Sol Rally Nation #join the movement.
The father and son duo of Roger and Dane Skeete is tough to beat on its own.
Roger Skeete has captured the Rally Barbados title more than any other driver and this year many believes he has the best chance of defending home turf against the overseas invasion as he gets set to pilot his S12B Subaru Impreza WRC over the stages in a few weeks.
His son Dane Skeete has been at the sharp end of a very intriguing two-wheel-drive battle. An ex-karting champion, Dane has graduated over the years and now sits at the helm of a Peugeot Maxi 306. The top contenders in this two-wheel-drive battle are all considered giant killers for their rapid pace and ability to be faster than the 4-wheel-drives cars.
If the team had stopped there they would have still been a force to contend with, however, they have added even more top contenders to the mix.
The brother Roger and Barry Mayers as well as Roger Hill are the other three drivers in this team which is set to take the road by storm. Roger and Barry Mayers are two other top drivers in the two-wheel-drive battle and with each slated to drive, rather than share a car many will have their eyes glued to this battle. Both are former karters as well and have shown their pace over the years. Roger will be in a Toyota Starlet which has proven its pace and many have been trying to reach over the years. Barry is currently putting together his Weapon of Speed and one thing can be certain, Roger, Barry and Dane will be looking to carry off the top honours in the overall two-wheel-drive battle.
Roger Hill caps off this very impressive team with his reliable Toyota Corolla WRC and he will be competing in the WRC2 class which is also in the top of the overall battles. (CG)
