Roderick Waterman is Mr. Bridgetown

Roderick Waterman is Mr. Bridgetown 2016.

Waterman who was representing Flawless Performance said he felt great and was happy the after putting in a lot of hard work that he has seen the results.
Waterman brought the condition and the muscle mass to the show which was held at Combermere on Saturday.

When the eight competitors stepped on stage late in the night, it was clear who were going to be in the top two, Waterman and Ramon Broomes. But Broomes though he had the muscle mass, lacked the conditioning and definition on the night.

This was most evident in the back double bicep pose as Waterman’s back looked chiselled while Broomes was showing some smooth areas.

In the end Waterman did not even bother to get into the battle in the final pose down as he stood off to the side doing his own thing.

Broomes finished second and David Small who had earlier won Mr. Novice was third.

After the competition, Waterman said he was confident after he saw the competition.

But reaching the title was no easy task for this muscle man who is over 40 years. Not taking anything for granted, Waterman said preparations for the competition started from as far as 12 weeks out and one of his main focus was to “bring up body parts that I feel were down”.

This meant a lot of heavy weights along with some grumbling but it paid off.
