Several hundred local football fans were on-hand to witness Real Madrid raise their 11th European trophy when they were treated to a Heineken UEFA Champions League Final Viewing Party this past Saturday. After ending regulation and extra time with a goal each, Real and Atlético Madrid played to five-three on penalties. Fans for, against and neutral to the Spanish team descended upon the Concorde Experience from as early as 1:30 PM to secure their spots inside ahead of the 2:45 PM kick-off.
The event, which was hosted by DJ Puffy and Vayne, was an invite-only one and was open only to adults. Prior to and during the final, patrons were treated to an entertainment package that included giveaways, musicians, stilt-walkers and special stations set up to play FIFA 16. Along with a VIP section, there was a post-game after-party which featured performances by Marvay.
