Friends, loved ones, pay tribute to Quincy Jones
FAMILY, friends and members of the motorsports community gathered on Monday to pay tribute to the life of Quincy Jones, who passed away recently in a road accident.
Jones piloted a yellow Toyota Starlet at Bushy Park recently, and was also known for his earlier exploits in cycling.
Hundreds gathered wearing their red and yellow shirts at Bushy Park Racing Circuit, St. Philip, to start their journey to the spot where the accident took place. The journey took them past Jones’ home, and then a human chain was formed around the round-a-bout where the former race driver was found.
The Barbados Advocate extends their condolences to the family.
