Defending champs Carlton defeat Yorkshire by 71 runs

OVER the weekend Gladiola continued to lead the way with yet another victory as 10 half-centuries and one century were recorded in the Barbados Cricket Association’s Elite/Division 1 Twenty20 Cup.

The lone century maker was Kyle Corbin from UWI, while there were three half-centuries in Zone A and seven in Zone B.

Unlike the previous week, the weather did not have a major factor in the weekend’s matches, which all saw a result being reached.
