CB Boscobelle win BCA Shield T20 Championship

CB Boscobelle are the champions of the Barbados Cricket Association's (BCA) Intermediate Division Shield Twenty20 Championship, which was played at Kensington Oval recently.

Facing off against Crane Resort St. Catherine, Boscobelle won two wickets with two balls to spare in the Final to claim the title for the first time.

Tony Edwards was awarded the man of the match, thanks to some impressive bowling which saw him finish with two wickets for 10 runs. He was well supported by Kemo Jordan with two wickets for 29 runs as St. Catherine were restricted to 100 runs off 19.5 overs. 

In reply, Boscobelle reached 101/8 off 19.4 overs despite an outstanding performance from Dario Cumberbatch, who took four wickets for three runs. Orion Seale took 2/18, but it was not enough to prevent Boscobelle from reaching their target. (CG)
