Belle wins Mr St. Michael

Stevenson Belle is Mr. St. Michael 2016.

Belle, who was representing Surfside Wellness Centre, came out on top of a seven competitor field to carry off the title when the Senior and Junior St. Michael Bodybuilding/Physique and Bikini Project was held at the George Street Auditorium on Saturday.

The clash between Belle and Samuel Eastmond from First Class Fitness fizzled out after Eastmond received a penalty for what the judges deemed an illegal pose.

As a result, Eastmond plummeted down the standings and was fourth.

Belle had missed nationals last year due to injury and has returned with an impressive start, and brings a condition which would have had him in the hunt for the win even if Eastmond did not receive the penalty .

Second place went to Shaquille Lavine who appears slightly bigger than last year; while David Small from Fitness Workshop was third.

There were other sanctions handed out during the competition as Reginal Thorpe got disqualified for inappropriate  music.

The bodybuilding Novice category was won by Michael Broome from J&S Fitness.

In the senior Bikini Fitness, reigning National Champion Shakira Douglin from ABC Fitness Studio came out on top of the competitive field. Second place went to Julia Haynes who is also from the same gym and won the Novice category, while Alisha Barnett from the Fitness Zone was third.

In the Mr Physique category, the winner was Marlon Dotting from Valley Fitness Zone, while Jamil Jones from J&S Fitness was second and Deono James from ABC Fitness third.

The winner of the Novice category was Lucky Camille from De Krackyn Gym.

Ms Junior Fitness was won by D’Ana Scantlebury (Roland Edwards); Miss Tiny Tot  was Zatari Collymore (Wilkie Cumberbatch); and Mr Tiny Tot –  Kobe Burgess (St. Paul).
