Sandals team shines at Prestige Awards

Sandals Barbados is reporting a drastic improvement in its guest satisfaction scores and its guests’ expectations are being met or even surpassed.

This is a result of the commitment of its team, some of whom were recognised during the Resort’s third annual Prestige Awards “A Night of a Thousand Stars”, held at Sandals Royal Barbados on Saturday night.

Seventeen awards were presented, among them the Platinum and Diamond Talents of the Year, All-Rounder of the Year, MVP of the Year and “A” Team of the Year.

“Your efforts to improve and enhance your skills have not gone unnoticed,” Sandals Barbados General Manager, Ferry Zievinger, assured employees.

“We have had to deal with the raised guests expectation levels, but this has caused us to look a little closer and dig a little deeper to find the courage and will to do more and to do even better. We are able to listen to our valued guests and ensure that we deliver on the promise of luxury. And it has paid off.”

He described 2017 as “a year unlike any other”, as the Christ Church property saw the much anticipated opening of Sandals Royal Barbados, the growth and development of some 500-plus new team members as well as the promotion and in some cases movement of many long-standing team members of Sandals Barbados.

“The journey has just begun, there is so much to look forward to and I am excited about your future and the future of our company,” he expressed, also encouraging them to continue to strive for excellence, hold their heads high and be proud of who they are.
