Pan American sees growth in business
BARBADOS’ branch of the Pan American Life Insurance continues to grow each year.
General Manager, Keith King, told The Barbados Advocate that as the company celebrates its fifth anniversary this month, management is especially pleased that “each year we are able to increase the amount of business which we do”.
“We have been able to retain our customers and even now in tough economic times, we are still seeing that our customers are remaining very loyal to us.
“We are broadening our customer base and that is a very good thing. Pan American specialises in life, health, accident and annuity products, as well as group health and group pensions.
“I am proud to say that we have seen a growth in all of those areas. We want to thank the members of our staff for their commitment and support over the years,” King said.
The General Manager briefly commented on the company’s growth and development during an interview yesterday, at Pan American’s Cheapside, Bridgetown location, where a Customer Appreciation Day was held to show gratitude to loyal customers for their continued support.
Those who visited Pan American’s offices yesterday, were greeted by members of staff and treated to tokens of appreciation, including Bajan sweets and treats to commemorate the island’s 51st Independence anniversary, which is being celebrated today.
“This is also a time when we are celebrating our fifth anniversary in Barbados and we thought we would do something a little different to show customers we care and help our country celebrate Independence,” King said. (AH)
