Ocean Hotels Group spending millions to upgrade properties
Three million dollars invested in a South coast property is yet another investment in the tourism industry.
This coming from Patricia Affonso-Dass, Group General Manager of Ocean Hotels. She was speaking last week at the newly upgraded South Beach Hotel in Rockley, Christ Church where she reaffirmed the Group’s commitment to the development of Barbados and she also revealed it is already attracting international attention.
“We have invested significantly to enhance the experience of our guests and with the new designs we’ve brought something modern and fresh to the island – the guests are loving it.
“We welcome international visitors and Barbadians, and cater to business executives as well as families, couples or friends, or any guests looking for a comfortable base from which to explore the island,” she added.
Affonso-Dass also revealed that significant improvements will be made at Sea Breeze, which will have extensive renovations and an additional 44 rooms. She stressed the Group’s commitment and dedication to Barbados to improve as well as add more rooms.
In keeping with marketing to a younger demographic, the upgraded property offers a combination of retro, chic and new-world charm, overlooking the stunning Rockley Beach. There is a Swagg Cocktail Lounge & Bistro, and complimentary Wi-Fi is offered throughout the property. (NB)
