Acting GG spreading Christmas cheer
ACTING GOVERNOR GENERAL Sir Philip Greaves has been busy spreading Christmas cheer to the young and old in recent days.
On Thursday evening he visited the little ones on the Children’s Ward at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), and yesterday, he took time out of his schedule to meet and spend time with the staff and residents at the St Michael District Hospital.
Sir Philip, who visited the hospital for the first time as Governor General, received a warm welcome from Ministry of Health officials and the management there. But he was all smiles when the elderly folks entertained him with their beautiful voices, as they sang a selection of Christmas carols.
The Acting Governor General, who evidently enjoyed his visit, wished all at the facility a merry Christmas and prosperous new year. (AH)
