Hilton Barbados appoints three new members to management team


HILTON Barbados welcomes three new additions to its management team: Jennifer Barrow, director of business development; Mark Welch, food and beverage manager; and Kobie Griffith, information systems manager.

Jennifer Barrow brings over 20 years of hospitality industry experience to Hilton Barbados. With a background in international tourism consulting, marketing and operations, she has extensive knowledge of business development, as well as policy awareness and formulation within the Caribbean hospitality and tourism sector. In her new role as director of business development, she is responsible for leading, planning, directing and overseeing Hilton Barbados’ strategic sales and marketing, revenue and business plans.

Mark Welch, a hospitality industry veteran with nearly three decades of experience, most recently served at the Turtle Beach Resort in Barbados. As Hilton Barbados’ food and beverage manager, he will oversee all aspects of the resort’s food and beverage operation, including managing the team and working to achieve department goals by ensuring exceptional customer service delivery, compliance with company brand standards and maintenance of health and safety regulations.

Kobie Griffith joins the Hilton Barbados team as information systems manager following his most previous role as IT Manager at Almond Resorts. In his new position, he is responsible for communicating, planning and managing the implementation of information technology at the hotel in accordance with company strategies and priorities while measuring costs, benefits and performance.
